Former Playboy model and born again Christian Teresa Scott

 A former porn star who once stripped for Playboy describes how she became – a born-again CHRISTIAN.

Pretty Teresa Scott, 32, flew to America to start her lucrative modelling when she won a beauty pageant aged 17.

The petite blonde model posed for dozens of top-shelf magazines including Playboy, Men Only, Hustler, Penthouse and Front.

But Teresa’s now swapped thongs and suspenders for prayer books after God told her ‘’keep your clothes on''.

Now Teresa spends the day writing hymns and books of Christian verse from her home in Nottingham, England.

She said: ‘’There were non-stop parties when I first became a model. I burned the candle at both ends and everything is a drunken blur when I look back.

‘’At the time it felt like I was living the dream. It was the kind of lifestyle that girls today dream about.

‘’ I was never shy in front of the camera but later on I didn't feel happy taking my clothes off.

‘’Every time I was at work I just kept thinking, 'I'm not happy with myself for doing this'. I was battling in my mind for so long.’’

 Teresa’s modelling career started when she contacted an agency in London aged 17 and they immediately flew her to America.

The teenager posed in dozens of big shoots for major US magazines and became one of the most sought-after glamour models of the time.

She partied at dozens of Hollywood mansions and snogged a string of top stars at naughty parties.

Teresa returned to the UK and appeared in thousands of shoots for top-shelf magazines and dozens of videos.

She worked for PLayboy TV and in 2002 hosted her own girl-on-girl show
called Teresa Scott Unleashed on Television X.

But last December Teresa heard a voice when she was meditating tell her that she was doing the wrong thing and had to stop.

She said the voice called out: ‘’If you bring your life in line with what I have in store for you I will lead you down the garden path’’.

 Teresa now attends church and sings gospel hymns including Morning Has Broken and I Love in the Name of Jesus .

She has also released two books of Christian verse called God’s Plan For My Life – What Is It? and Rhapsody! In The Name Of Jesus! .

Teresa said: ‘’It all started when my mum’s uncle took some pictures
of me when I was 17 to enter a beauty contest.

‘’A few weeks later some big guy came running out of a nearby pub,
gave me a card and told me to go to a modelling agency in London and
they sent me to America straight away.

‘’I honestly thought I'd hit the big time. I really enjoyed it but I
suppose as you get older you think about things more.

‘’At the time it felt like I was living the dream. It was the kind of
lifestyle that girls today dream about.

‘’ I was never shy in front of the camera but later on I didn't feel happy taking my clothes off.

‘’Every time I was at work I just kept thinking, 'I'm not happy with myself for doing this'. I was battling in my mind for so long.’’

 ‘’I gradually became more interested in Christianity and one day God
spoke to my heart and told me to stop taking my clothes off. After
that I felt instant joy.

‘’I contacted everyone that I worked with to say that I wasn't working
anymore and explained why. They all wished me luck and they probably
thought I was a mad woman.

‘’Then I deleted the numbers and decided I didn't ever want to go back.

‘’Now I write Christian books and sing hymns on the guitar. I’m
happier than I’ve ever been before and wouldn't ever go back.

‘’I never had peace in my heart like I've got now. It's not that I
think modelling is bad and the people that do it are bad, it's just
not right for me anymore.’’
